Why we made it
Every comparison site we tried felt the same: a sea of cards, identical pros and cons recycled across hundreds of tools, and a verdict that hedges so the affiliate clicks keep flowing. We wanted something blunter. Fewer tools, more opinion. A short list we're willing to defend.
DuelStack tracks pricing, features, and tradeoffs across a curated set of AI and SaaS tools. We update it by hand. When we change a verdict, we say so. When we're unsure, we say that too.
How we make money
Affiliate fees. When you click a buy link and sign up for a paid plan, the vendor pays us a referral. That money lets us keep the site free and ad-free.
No vendor has ever paid us to rank them higher, change a verdict, or remove a competitor.We turn down offers like that on a regular basis. If that ever changes, we'll tell you here first.
How we make decisions
Read the full methodology for scoring details. Short version: we read the docs, sign up for the free tier, talk to actual users when we can, and pull pricing directly from the vendor every weekday at 7 AM Eastern. Anything that's stale is flagged.
What we're not
